I wrote a press release for an upcoming service that our company will be offering and have submitted it to online press release websites. Does anyone know how I can get it published in print editions? I am not talking about the Wall Street Journal or anything like it. My question concerns regional newspapers.

How to i know who to contact when I want to release a press release?

I have a brand new website that I want to let others know about. I have released press releases already on sites like digg and PRleap and have emailed hundreds of influential news sites and bloggers. Although traffic has seen an increase, it is not nearly as high as I thought it would be.
I like to find out more about people I can send my press release to that would make a difference. People that are influential and are willing to read the press release. Any thoughts?

The must be a list of these email addresses somewhere on the net….. Just like a combined list of email addresses of newspaper editors, radio stations, TV stations etc where you can send your press release to. Can anyone hook me up?

What types of information related to a particular business justify submitting a press release? For example, would the following justify sending out a press release:
* A blog that’s supplementary to your main site that is there solely for informational purposes
* Adding new landing pages to your site
* The launch of a company newsletter
The company I work for has either already begun or is about to begin all of the above. Can we send out a press release for all? For any?

I’m running a political campaign and will be sending out a press release to all the local media contacts tomorrow. How do I get them to notice it? I’m sure they get a lot of press releases and ignore most of them. Should I paste the text of it into the email and also attach it as an attachment? If it’s a mass email how do I address it — “Dear Member of the Press”?
