How do I get a Press Release onto Yahoo News?

I’m trying to get a Press Release onto Yahoo News and the only way I know is through PRWeb where you have to pay for it. Can anyone tell me how to get it onto Yahoo without paying?

    The only chance you have would be to get in through one of the major newswires, so you could try sending it to the AP or Reuters. It’s still unlikely they’d pass it along verbatim, and it would have to be something fairly major to get picked up in the first place. You’d have a lot more luck going to a more local TV station or newspaper, who would have a better time furthering the story.
