How long deos a press release stay online?

over a year ago i had gotten in trouble with the law. I did my community service and i ended up not having a criminal record, but if you Google my name and address, you can see what i was charged with. I don’t want anyone knowing my business, so will this press release stay on forever, or will it go away? its been over a year.

    The Internet has a very long memory. For example, Google caches many sites in its index - allowing them to be viewed even if the site is removed. Also, the Internet Archive has backups of a huge amount of sites going back to 1996.

    Unless the site magically gets deleted/it hasn’t been archived, you are pretty much stuck with that. You can mitigate the impact, however - I put an article in the sources that might give you some advice (aimed at bloggers).
